The Evolis Primacy Duplex is a dual-sided dye-sublimation and resin-thermal transfer ID card printer. With optional encoder modules, it supports printing and in‑line encoding of magnetic stripes and smart chips. Compact, modular, and fast, it’s ideal for professional environments needing secure, high-quality, personalized card issuance.
- Dual-Sided Edge-to-Edge Printing:
- Simultaneously prints both sides using YMCKO‑K ribbons at up to 170 cards/hour or outputs single‑side color at 280 cards/hour
- High-resolution options: 300×300 dpi standard, up to 300×600 dpi for color, and even 300×1200 dpi for monochrome

- Supports in‑line installation of magnetic-stripe, contact chip, and contactless smart card encoders, including MIFARE, DESFire, HID iCLASS, and UHF RFID
- Can be configured on-site or factory-installed, and supports multiple encoders simultaneously

- Offers UV printing, optional lamination, mechanical locking, Kineclipse® data erasure, and Kensington lock support
